If i=sqrt(-1), what is i classified as
I recently, while studying for the SAT found out about i. If the textbooks are right, then i is the square root of -1. i^2 is -1, and i^3 is +i. This is a little paradox, but I have a question about it. If there is positive i, and they need to write it as +i, is i a negative number?
